Visit historic sites for free with the Historic Environment Scotland 2017 ticket giveaway

Celebrate St Andrew's Day with free tickets to popular historic sites including Linlithgow Palace and Arbroath Abbey, in the Historic Environment Scotland ticket giveaway.

The ticket giveaway is now open and you can apply for free tickets from now until 5pm on 24 November - for visiting sites on 25 and 26 November. 

Sites included in the ticket giveaway include:

  • Craigmillar Castle
  • Tantallon Castle
  • Fort George
  • Dumbarton Castle
  • Arbroath Abbey
  • Linlithgow Palace (birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots)
  • Stirling Castle (home of the Stewart court)

How to apply for your free tickets

Visit Historic Environment Scotland and enter your postcode into the map to find historic sites close to where you live. You can then apply for your free tickets and print them off.
