The Highland Military Tattoo took place at Fort George in Inverness this September and included a fantastic performance by the Military Wives Choir, which was shared by Inverness Outlanders on their YouTube channel.

The theme tune, Skye Boat Song, is a historic Scottish folk song which recalls Bonnie Prince Charlie's escape to Skye, aided by Flora MacDonald, after the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Over the years, the song has been covered by numerous artists, including Tom Jones, Rod Stewart and Julian Lloyd Webber.
