An exhibition of drawings, photographs and sketches selected from the HES Archives, showing buildings and monuments associated with Sir Walter Scott, is now on display in Edinburgh.

A highlight of the exhibition is a display of alternative designs for the Scott Monument, Edinburgh, and buildings which trace Scott’s influence on Scottish architecture.

The exhibition is accompanied by an online exhibition which continues the theme of Sir Walter Scott in the archives, through topics including 'haunts and jaunts', 'Scotland on the page' and 'baronial influence'.
