Discover the history on your doorstep with our brand new challenge! Here's what you need to know to get started on your street history adventure.

Family Tree and History Scotland have joined forces to launch #StoryOfOurStreet – a fun history project that invites everyone to explore the story of their street.

With magazine articles, activity packs, history challenges, expert tips and ideas from other researchers, you’ll have all the info, advice and inspiration you need to take on the #StoryOfOurStreet project.

It’s free to join and you can take part from wherever in the world you live. And even if you think your street doesn’t have so much history… prepare to be surprised! We’ll show you how to find street history clues, point you in the direction of helpful resources and give you ideas on how to present the history and get your community involved.
