Watch just a few minutes of the recently broadcast film From Scotland With Love and you'll be captivated.

The archive footage of ordinary Scots makes for extraordinary viewing, given an added poignancy by the absence of any dialogue or narration, and the poetic, at times haunting, soundtrack by Fife singer/songwriter Kenny Anderson, better known as King Creosote.

The brief for the film project aimed for 'a poetic film about Scotland using archive footage with a contemporary score but no narration or interviews' and the results are mesmerising. From protesting marchers on Glasgow's streets, to families enjoying a seaside jaunt, the film encapsulates many aspects of Scotland's past, and has already garnered an array of rave reviews.
