Call for volunteers to help test the usability of Scotland's 2021 census website

30 June 2020
Do you use census data as part of your job? If so, you could volunteer to help shape the usability of the 2021 census website for Scotland.

National Records of Scotland (NRS) is working alongside Storm ID to explore the needs and requirements of those who are interested in accessing census data and supporting information via its website. NRS want to gather feedback so they can continue to improve their Census Outputs Website.

Could you volunteer?

NRS is looking to run a number of usability tests on 8, 9 and 10 July with those who use census data as part of their job. All research sessions will be conducted remotely using Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business. Each session will be a maximum of 60 minutes long.

NRS said: 'To ensure we are including the right people in the usability testing, we need to gather some basic information about each participant. If you would like to volunteer to take part, please complete this short questionnaire and we will be in touch.'
