History Scotland's summer lecture programme covers centuries of history, from bandits in 17th-century Scotland, to the legacy of Scotland's so-called 'Swinging Sixties'.
Since the launch of our online programme in November 2020, thousands of history fans around the world have enjoyed History Scotland's online lectures. These are expert and exclusive Zoom talks presenting Scottish history research in an engaging format.
The talks cover a wide range of topics and each is delivered by an expert in the field, who delivers a c.45-minute talk, followed by a Q&A session chaired by Dr Allan Kennedy, History Scotland's consultant editor.
