Download the new, improved digital edition of History Scotland

The new digital version of History Scotland is now available to download through apple's newsstand app, on the iPad, iPod and iPhone.

The updated version includes many new features to improve the user experience, including the ability to read whilst the issue is still downloading, as well as significant stability and performance improvements.

Users who have downloaded History Scotland in the past should visit the Newsstand store and download the new version.

All previously purchased issues will be available to download again in the new version, by following these instructions:

1.       If you have registered a Pocketmags account please skip to step 2.
If you do not have a Pocketmags account please launch your old app, click Login/Register and setup a username and password.
2.       Download and launch the new app.
3.       Click Settings > Login/Register and enter the login details which you registered in the old app.
4.       Once you are logged in your issues from the original app will become available in the new app.
