A selection of treasures from the Royal Collection are to go on display at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for the first time to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse is to host the 'Treasures from the Queen's Palaces' exhibition from 16 March to 4 November 2012. The exhibition comprises a collection of 100 works from across the breadth of the Royal Collection, from over five centuries of royal collecting and from eight different royal residences. Highlights include paintings by Rembrandt, Canaletto and Monet, drawings by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Holbein, and Imperial Easter Eggs by Fabergé.
