In the September issue of Scottish Memories magazine we take a look at the news, films, TV and music of 1951.

This was the year that the radio show The Archers was launched and here June Spencer, who featured from episode one onwards, as Peggy Woolley, talks about her memories of the show:


The same year, the Goon Show made its debut, with stars including Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe.
